App design & development for Midrand businesses.
Mobile apps, web apps and business tools, designed and built end to end — by the studio that shipped Groza.
iOS · Android · WebFour things every good app gets right.

InterfacesInterfaces people actually use.
Design and build in one place — the screens, the motion, the empty states, and the thousand small decisions that make an app feel native rather than a website in a wrapper.

SearchSearch that knows the shelf.
Forgiving search, category filters and a budget slider, so someone can look up one brand by name or simply ask what R500 buys this week. Browse by store when they already know where they are shopping.

Live dataLive pricing, piped in.
We connect the app to the systems behind it and keep it fed: APIs, product feeds and store catalogues ingested and normalised, so a price on the screen matches the price on the shelf and a basket total is a real number.

CommunityBuilt for where people actually live.
Specials differ by province, so the app asks where you shop and shows you that. Built for shared phones, tight budgets and uneven signal — the conditions the people using it are actually in.
From a first version to the tool the whole team runs on.
- Mobile apps
- iOS and Android, from the first sketch to the store listing.
- Web apps
- Software that runs in the browser, for customers or for the team.
- Business tools
- The repetitive part of the week — quotes, bookings, stock — handled in one place.
- Customer portals
- A signed-in space where clients see their orders, documents and status.
- First versions
- A focused first release that proves the idea before the full build.
Designed before it’s drawn,
built to be opened twice.
Decide before drawing
Who opens it, where, and to do what. The screens follow from the answers, not the other way round.
Design for the thumb
One-handed use, real phone sizes, real data on screen from the first prototype.
Build for the network
Tight budgets and uneven signal are the default conditions here, so the app is built for them.
Ship, then sharpen
Release, watch how it is actually used, and iterate on evidence rather than opinion.
Prototype on real phones, then build what held up.
Discovery
Who it is for, what it replaces and what a first version has to prove. Ends in a scope and a quote.
Prototype
Clickable screens with real content, tested on phones before any production code is written.
Build
Interface, data and integrations built together, with a working build to try along the way.
Release
Store submission or deployment, then iteration once real people are using it.

Before you brief us.
Do you design apps, build them, or both?
Both. We design and build iOS and Android apps, web apps and business tools end to end, so the people designing the product are the people shipping it.
What does app development cost?
Apps vary too much in scope for a fixed price, so we quote each one after a short discovery conversation. You get the scope, the price and the timeline before any work starts.
Can the app connect to our existing systems?
Yes. We connect apps to the systems behind them — APIs, product feeds, catalogues and databases — so what is on screen matches what is in your business.
Should we build a mobile app or a web app?
It depends on who uses it and how often. A web app runs anywhere without a download; a native app belongs on the home screen of people who use it daily. We will tell you which one your case calls for.
Where are you based?
On Lever Road in Midrand. We work with teams across Waterfall, Kyalami, Carlswald and the wider Johannesburg–Pretoria corridor.
